Junction City Hosting Third Annual Human Trafficking Summit

Junction City, OR to hold third annual Human Trafficking Prevention Summit this Saturday. Many experts on human trafficking including the FBI, will work alongside Chief Bob Morris with Junction City police to raise awareness to the worldwide issue.



Detectives said Warren agreed to meet the girl in the vicinity of a local high school and was arrested by the street crimes unit. Warren is in the Lane County Jail and faces a charge of first-degree online sexual corruption of a child.


Elmira man arrested after getting caught in child prostitution sting

An Elmira man was arrested on Monday after detectives working a child prostitution sting found him posing online as a teen girl.
The man, identified as Charles Burke Niemeyer, responded to the posting and made an agreement to meet the “girl” who had identified herself as a 15 year old in the vicinity of a local high school.
